Cell protection and good health

In order to have good health our cells need protection. That is provided for in several ways. One of our major organs, the skin, defends our body from viruses, bacteria, and other things that could harm us. The skin also excretes some waste in our sweat. Our mucus membranes also protect our cell health. Any invaders are destroyed by the mucus secreted by these membranes. Another form of cell protection is through the intestinal flora. These good bacteria live in our intestines. When they are damaged bad bacteria can replace them and we can become ill. There are other forms of cell protection such as tear glands, fever, lymphatic system, antibodies and fighter cells called phagocytes.

Cell health and exercise

How does our body get rid of waste or toxins from our cells? Exercise is a very important way to do this. Exercise daily will help the lymphatic system to filter out
waste when your muscles contract. When you are sedentary your body is not able to remove as much cell waste and you may feel tired and unenergetic.

Cell nutrition and barley grass powder

Cells require healthy food to be healthy. What are some things we can do to help our cells to function optimally? We need to cut down on sugar and those foods that have alot of sugar. Many diseases are related to high sugar consumption. Reduce the amount of beef, pork, fish, poultry that you eat. Approximately three servings of 3 to 4 ounces weekly is best for adults. Eat a wider variety of fruit, vegetables, meats, nuts, whole grains and legumes. Remove foods such as tea, coffee, soft drinks, foods that contain preservatives and are sprayed with chemicals.
And finally, take one or two teaspoons of barley grass powder each day.

Cell health

Another factor that cells in our body must have to function optimally is a ph range of 7.35 to 7.45. If the environment within our cells is too acid or too alkaline it will cause our cells to not function correctly.

The third factor which keeps our cells from functioning correctly is cell stress.
Prescription drugs have many negative effects on our cells and cause them stress.
Alcohol is also damaging to our cells. Brain cells are poisoned as are liver and
respiratory system.

A final internal factor for our cells to function optimally is adequate pure water. Many cell activities, such as food digestion and action of electrolytes, are harmed when we do not drink enough water.

Cell health and barley grass powder

Before we get into information about barley grass powder we need to learn about the cells in our body and what they need to be healthy. When our cells are healthy then
our body will be healthy.

For cells to function optimally they must have a certain temperature range. For most people the ideal temperature is 98.6 degrees F. The body may have a temperature as low as 77 degrees F without death but cell damage will occur.
Cells will also be damaged with temperatures above 104-106 degrees F. Organs can also
be damaged and that can cause death so it is important to keep the body temperature below 104 degrees F when ill.
